Sum up Kenton Hall Estate in three words….?
Relaxed, charming, whimsical.
Tell us a little bit about what you do…
We offer an exclusive wedding venue set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Our wedding reception venue is available to hire seasonally from May through to August. The venue itself is a traditionally styled marquee set in the moated grounds of Kenton Hall. We can cater for up to 150 seated guests and up to 200 evening guests. We are delighted to be working with Chef Peter Harrison to offer the very best quality wedding catering using local suppliers and seasonal produce from the farm wherever possible.
Our woodland blessings are the most romantic experience in a rustic woodland setting. Our glamping site offers a great accommodation option for those boho brides wanted a festival feel to their day.
I grew up at Kenton Hall and now run the weddings at the estate. We are a small family business that really care about each wedding that takes place here. As the wedding co-ordinator, I handle all enquiries and meetings with clients and I am there on the day to ensure the day runs smoothly and that everyone is happy.

What makes Kenton Hall Estate Truly Marvellous?
Our aim is to always provide a wonderful experience, personal service and very special memories. At kenton hall estate we only host eight weddings per year which allows us to get to know each couple individually. The hall is a private family home and this reflects in the personal service we offer.
The wow factor is driving down the tree-lined avenue, past our english longhorn cattle grazing before reaching the stunning tudor kenton hall. the entrance gives you a real sense of our charming, unique and relaxed setting.

What is your advice to couples choosing a wedding venue?
Before beginning your venue search, decide whether you want a church wedding or civil ceremony, this will help determine the type of venue you are looking for. Consider budget, your guestlist and the style or theme you want for your day and make a list of priorities. Then make a short-list of your favourite venues to view and note down questions to ask each venue. If you get on well with the the wedding co-ordinator it will make your planning easier! Have an open mind when considering venues, if you get a good feeling about a place it’s usually right – always go with your heart, it is your wedding day after all!
Where is your favourite place in Suffolk?
This is a tough question! My favourite place in Suffolk has got to be Walberswick – a small village on the coast – one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets! I have wonderful summer holiday memories from my childhood and I now love walking along the beach on a cold, crisp winters day followed by a trip to The Anchor pub! The view up the estuary at sunset on a summer’s day is breathtaking. Have I sold it to you?!
